I was born and raised in Washington State where I completed my Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art and Elementary Education at Western Washington University.  I earned my teaching credential at Western as well, and then completed my student teaching in the north of Spain.  This is my fourth year at El Sol in which I have worked hard to educate my students and impart the knowledge I have on them.  In California I have earned my BCLAD (Bilingual Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development) certificate.  I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to learn more about dual language development and I am currently working on my Master’s Degree in Dual Language Education.  I enjoy spending my free time with my husband, family and friends and enjoy traveling, skiing, camping and playing tennis.

Yo nací y crecí en el estado de Washington donde hice mi Bachillerato en las bella artes y educación primaria en la Universidad de Western Washington.  Mi credencial de maestría lo realicé en la Universidad de Western Washington también, y mis practicas de enseñanza las realicé en el norte de España.  Este es el cuarto año en el cual he hecho lo posible por entregarle toda mi sabiduría a los niños de El Sol.  En California culminé mi certificado de BCLAD (Credencial de desarollo del idioma y cultura bilingüe).  Me siento muy afortunada porque tuve la oportunidad de adquirir más conocimiento sobre mi especialidad.  Actualmente estoy trabajando en mi Postgrado el cual trata sobre la educación de doble inmersión.  En el tiempo libre me gusta compartirlo con mi esposo, mi familia y mis amigos.  También me gusta viajar con ellos, esquiar, acampar y jugar tenis.
