Mrs. Flores has been working with K-2 grade for three years.  She joined the El Sol Family this year and is teaching Kindergarten.  She was born in Michoacán, Mexico and moved to Santa Ana at the age of nine. After graduating from Katella High School, she attended Santa Ana College and completed her Associates of Arts degree in Liberal Arts.  She then transferred to Cal State Fullerton and majored in Child and Adolescent Development. After completing her Bachelor’s degree, she continued her education at Chapman University where she obtained her bilingual teaching credential.  Mrs. Flores is currently working on her master’s degree at Chapman University in curriculum and instruction. Her favorite quote: “It takes a village to raise a child”

La Sra. Flores ha enseñado en los grados de Kinder al segundo durante los últimos tres años.  Ella pasó a formar parte de la familia de El Sol el presente curso escolar y actualmente está enseñando en Kinder.  La Sra. Flores nació en Michoacán, México y comenzó a residir en la ciudad de Santa Ana a la edad de nueve años.  Cursó sus estudios pre-universitarios en la escuela Katella High.  Seguidamente continúo sus estudios en el colegio de Santa Ana donde se titulo en Artes Liberales.  Luego comenzó su carrera  universitaria en la Universidad de Cal State Fullerton, en donde obtuvo la licenciatura en Desarrollo de Niños y Adolescentes, la que posteriormente enriqueció con la credencial de maestro bilingüe en la Universidad de Chapman.  La Sra. Flores está actualmente estudiando para conseguir su Maestría en currículo y instrucción en la Universidad de Chapman.  Su dicho favorito:  “Se requiere de una comunidad para criar a un niño”.
