Mrs. Romo was born and raised in Orange.  She went to Orange High School.  She  studied at the University of Valencia, Spain in Summer 2002.  Mrs. Romo has  traveled to England, France and Italy.   For her undergraduate work she  attended Chapman University.  At Chapman she graduated with a BA in  Liberal Studies with a Spanish minor in May of 2002.  Then she began  the teaching credential program at Chapman and completed the Masters  program there as well.  Mrs. Romo got her masters in education with an emphasis  in curriculum and instruction.  After she graduated from college she  worked for the kinder readiness program for  SAUSD.  Then in 9/2004 she was hired at El Sol Academy to teach first grade language arts.   Currently Mrs. Romo is teaching kinder math and science.  She was married in  February 2005.   She has one son whose name is Emiliano.  Her mom and dad live in Orange.  She has one younger brother  and a  younger sister  (she is married and living in Chicago).
