Ms. Catalan has been part of the El Sol family for 1 year. She has had the pleasure to work with 2nd grade teaching Language Arts in Spanish.  She was born in Guerrero, Mexico but was raised in the city of Anaheim since the age of 6.  She attended Katella High School in the city of Anaheim and went on to obtain her undergraduate degree from Cal State Fullerton.  Her teaching credential training was done at Chapman University.  Ms. Catalan loves being part of El Sol because she believes in bilingualism, enjoys seeing the students enthusiastic and involved in the arts and loves to see how parents participate in their child’s education. In her spare time she loves spending time with her fiancé Mario, family and friends. She also enjoys music, dancing and helping out her community.

La Maestra Catalán ha sido parte de la familia El Sol por 1 ano. Ella ha tenido el placer de trabajar con los estudiantes de segundo grado y enseñar lenguaje en español. Nació en Guerrero, México pero creció aquí en la ciudad de Anaheim desde que tenía seis años. Asistió la escuela Katella High School en Anaheim y obtuvo su licenciatura en la Universidad de Cal State Fullerton. Después obtuvo su credencial de maestra en la Universidad de Chapman. A la Maestra Catalán le encanta ser parte de la escuela El Sol porque cree en la educación bilingüe, le gusta ver a los estudiantes entusiasmados e involucrados en las artes y le gusta como los padres participan en la educación de sus hijos. En su tiempo libre le gusta pasar el tiempo con su prometido, Mario, su famila y amigos. También le gusta la música, bailar y ayudar a su comunidad.
