Ms. Martinez has been part of the El Sol family for 6 years now. She has had the pleasure to work with grade levels K-4 and has taught first grade for 3 years.  She was born in Guerrero, Mexico but was raised here in Santa Ana since the age of 4.  She attended Saddleback High School in Santa Ana and went on to obtain her undergraduate degrees from the University of California Irvine.  Her teaching credential training was done at Cal State Fullerton and she is currently completing her masters at  Cal State Long Beach in dual language development.  Ms. Martinez loves being part of El Sol because she believes in bilingualism and enjoys seeing the students involved in the arts. In her spare time she loves spending time with her two children Nicholas 10 and Emely 8. Her favorite quote: The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you--B.B. King

La Maestra Martinez ha sido parte de la familia El Sol por 6 años. Ella ha tenido el placer de trabajar con los estudiantes de Kinder a cuarto grado y ha enseñado en primer grado por tres años. Nacio en Guerrero, Mexico pero crecio aqui en Santa Ana desde que tenia  cuatro años. Asistio la escuela Saddleback High en Santa Ana y obtuvo su licenciaturas en la Universidad de California, Irvine. Despues obtuvo su credencial de maestra en la Universidad de Cal State Fullerton. Actualmente esta por terminar su maestria en el desarrollo del lenguage dual en la Universidad de Cal State Long Beach. La Maestra Martinez le encanta ser parte de El Sol porque cree en la educacion bilingue y le gusta ver los estudiantes involucrados en las artes.
