I have taught at all levels: university, college, adult education, high school and elementary and I believe preschool is my favorite. I received my M.A. from the University of Wisconsin and my B.A. from Southern Methodist University. I have lived in California for the past 23 years. I was born and raised in Mexico City and schooled in a dual immersion program similar to the one offered at El Sol. I also write bilingual children's books and translate. My hobby is playing the ukulele.
