El Sol Science and Arts Academy is committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 cases as it affects our school community. We will maintain privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff. El Sol families will be notified when a positive or presumed cased is identified.
We encourage families to be proactive and to reinforce to their children the importance of handwashing, physical distancing and face coverings to limit the spread of coronavirus.

Active COVID-19 Cases
El Sol Academy will provide case notification to staff and El Sol families when a positive case is identified. The parents of the affected individual will be contacted by phone from Sara Flores (Health and Safety). Student or staff members who are considered close contacts (6 feet or less for 15 or more minutes) will receive self-isolation instructions and resources.
The families of those not affected will receive a letter to inform them of the incident with no action to take.
El Sol staff will maintain the privacy and confidentiality to protect our students and staff. If you suspect or confirm your student(s) or child(ren) have COVID-19, you must report it to Sara Flores – sflores@elsolacademy.org – (714) 975-0544
